8/29/2020 Basketball Fantasy Picks

 

•  High Cost Pick: $9,200 Nikola Vucevic
• Nikola is a inexpensive player to pick tonight being at only $9,200. He has score over 50 points in 3 of his last 4 games with 2 of those games being over 60 points. I don't see Giannis, Lebron, or AD finishing out the games they play. Bucks will blow out the Magic and without Dame Dollar, I don't see much of a chance for Portland. 
• Expect Nikola to get around 55 fantasy points tonight.

• Middle Tier: $7,400 Shai Gilgeous-Alexander PG/SG
• Shai is in his sophomore year and man has he grown. The last three games he has average roughly 47 fantasy points. He is not a big name yet but he is getting there. I would definitely have this man in your line up today. This is where Chris Paul is going to throw the ball when the Thunder needs a bucket!
• Expect Shai to put up 40 fantasy points today.

• Budget Pick: $4,000 Anfernee Simmons  PG/SG
• Simmons is 4k and without Damian Lillard you can expect him to get a lot more playing time. He actually use to start over Gary Trent Jr but went on a rough streak and Gary did well for a few games and got the nudge. I wouldn't doubt Simmons though, this boy can shoot.
• Expect Simmons to score about 25 fantasy points today.

8/26/2020 - Fantasy Basketball Daily Picks

 

•  High Cost Pick: $11,800 James Harden PG/SG
• James is expensive tonight but if you're going to go with  a pick over 10k, then he is your guy. I don't see Giannis, Lebron, or AD finishing out the games they play. Bucks will blow out the Magic and without Dame Dollar, I don't see much of a chance for Portland. Honestly, you might be better off not taking any picks over 10k tonight but I definitely could see James Harden going off because him and Chris Paul did not end on good terms.
• Expect James to get around 60 fantasy points tonight.

8/25/2020 - Fantasy Basketball Daily Picks

 

•  High Cost Pick: $11,000 Luka Doncic PG/SF
• We told you to pick Luka last game and many didn't listen. Luka made everyone listen with his game ending and 92.75 fantasy points. It would be smart to pick him tonight. He is definitely become more comfortable in this series and realizes he deserves to be here. There is a lot at the end of the tunnel and Luka doesn't want to lose this series. 
• Expect Luka to get around 65 fantasy points tonight and a triple double.

• Middle Tier: $6,700 Mike Conley PG
• Mike Conley has been money since he has come back. He cost $6,700 and will get you around 40 fantasy points. His last two game he went for 39.25 and 38.5 fantasy points. Oh and by the way he only played 25 minutes in the first game. The Jazz are looking to close out the Nuggets and I expect Conley to be out there pretty much the whole game. 
• Expect Conley to put up 40 fantasy points today.

• Budget Pick: $4,600 Seth Curry SG
• I actually don't love any pick here. If I had to choose a player I will take Seth Curry because honestly at his price, he does exactly enough to give you what you need for his cost. He also has games where he can blow up. He will play roughly about 30 minutes and if he is on fire those threes come pretty easy to him.
• Expect Curry to score about 25 fantasy points today.

Daily Fantasy Basketball 8/22/2020

 

•  High Cost Pick: $10,200 Anthony Davis  PF/C
• Anthony Davis is going to put up 65 Fantasy points tonight. I will just say it. LeBron has a sore groin but he will still play. I see LeBron holding back a little and letting AD drive because this is only the first round. We should see AD go off tonight.
• Expect AD to get around 65 fantasy points tonight and a double double.

• Middle Tier: $6,100 Victor Oladipo SG/SF
• Victor played 37 minutes in the last game against the Heat. He was poked in the eye pretty bad and still scored 32.3 fantasy points. I expect him to get the same minutes with more fantasy points today. Pacers are not trying to get swept in this series. Pacers and Heat have had beef this year and not winning a game in the playoffs would be a huge ego hit.
• Expect Oladipo to put up over 37 fantasy points today.

• Budget Pick: $4,600 Hassan Whiteside C
• I will admit this is a little bit expensive for a budget pick but Hassan has been getting a uptick in minutes the last couple of games. If you are familiar with Hassan, you know when he puts his mind to it he can go off. I think today is that day.
• Expect Hassan to score over 30 fantasy points today.

Daily Fantasy Basketball 8/21/2020

 

•  High Cost Pick: $9,800 Joel Embiid C
• Joel Embiid is in a must win situation with the 76ers already down 2-0 in the series. He has definitely done his part to even remotely give his team a chance but he will need to pick it up. He is currently averaging 30pts, 13 rebs, 1 blk and 1 steal per game. I would look for him to bring these numbers up today if his team wants to have any chance. 
• Expect Joel to get around 60 fantasy points tonight and a double double.

• Middle Tier: $7,600 Fred VanVleet PG/SG
• VanVleet is a great pick up at $7,600. He is getting more then 40 minutes a game, so you know he is always on the floor. His stats line avg for the series is 27 pts, 4 rebs, and 10asts. I don't know what more you can ask for. He is averaging 55 fantasy points in this series as well. Brooklyn can not stop this man!
• Expect Fred to put up over 45 fantasy points today.

• Budget Pick: $3,500 Reggie Jackson PG
• Reggie Jackson will start for the Clippers most likely tonight with Patrick Beverly out. Reggie Jackson is a proven veteran and can get hot. You will be hard pressed to find a player at his caliber for this price. 
• Expect Reggie to get you around 25 - 30 fantasy points today.

8/20/20 DraftKings Basketball Picks

 

•  High Cost Pick: $10,900 LeBron James
• Lakers lost to Portland and it was no fault of LeBron. This is nothing new to LeBron though, he has been in this position before. Having to pull his team to a W in the playoffs. Last game, LeBron had a triple double with 23 pts, 17 rebs, 16 asts. I would expect another triple double tonight.
• Expect LeBron to get around 65 fantasy points tonight and a triple douple.

• Middle Tier: $7,200 Khris Middleton SF
• Khris has had a rough stretch the last few games but at $7,200, I think he is a solid pick. After losing to Orlando in the last game, I expect this to be a big game for the Bucks. Khris Middleton should have a bounce back game today.
• Expect Khris to put up over 35 fantasy points today.

• Budget Pick: $4,000 James Ennis III
• James Ennis has been getting roughly 30 minutes his last two games and putting up over 25 fantasy points in each game. I would expect this trend to continue in the following game.
• Expect James to score around 25 fantasy points tonight.

Draftkings 8/19 Basketball Picks

•  High Cost Pick: $11,000 Luka Doncic
• If I learned anything from the first game,  Luka is going to be better this game. His first game he had 11 turnovers and still put up 42 pts, 9 asts, and 7 rebounds. I expect his points to go down but asts and rebound to go up with fact Kristaps will be back in the line up. This may be Luka's first NBA playoff but he has been to the playoffs in Europe before. 
• Expect Luka to get around 62 fantasy points tonight and a triple douple.

• Middle Tier: $8,900 Kristaps Porzingis
• Kristaps is definitely not happy for being ejected from his first playoff games after some would say a "soft" technical for defending Luka Doncic.  In 20 minutes Kristaps had 14 pts, 6 rebs, 1 ast, and 1 block. Kristaps brings trouble to the Clippers front door. They don't really have someone to guard a 7'6" center who can hit a three all day. 
• Expect Kristaps to put up over 50 fantasy points today with a double double.

• Budget Pick: $3,600 Maxi Kieber
• I am not a Mavericks fan I swear! This last pick is easy to explain. Maxi is a starter, he is $3,600, and he definitely has something to prove after the first match up. Maxi Kiebler has just 11 fantasy points in total there first meet up. He left Luka hanging when he needed a robin to pass to.
• Expect Maxi to score around 25 fantasy points tonight.
